AGRU Smooth Liner®
Tough and flexible, HDPE and LLDPE AGRU Smooth Liner is the material of choice for containment applications. The chemically resistant material provides consistent thickness and delivers optimum weld speed and weld quality in the field. All AGRU Smooth Liner material is rolled on 23’ wide plastic cores to ensure ease of installation, eliminating the problem of collapsed cores.
As the only HDPE and LLDPE geomembrane featuring consistent texture and friction angle values, MicroSpike is the material of choice in containment applications where slope stability is critical. AGRU’s patented manufacturing process, flat die-cast extrusion, allows the company to produce the most consistent smooth or textured geomembranes.
Black & White Liner
Black & White geomembranes offer the advantages of both a light reflective white surface and a black damage detection layer. The liner’s ultraviolet (UV) resistant white surface reflects light, which minimizes associated heat absorption by as much as 50%, while the black HDPE lining geomembranes can reach temperatures of 160°F (71°C) or more.
Super Gripnet® Liner
Comes in two resin types, HDPE and LLDPE, to support projects where drainage and high interface friction, as well as cost savings, are critical. Examples include landfill caps, landfill slopes, and mining reclamation projects. Super Gripnet is a structured geomembranes that is manufactured by a continuous horizontal flat die extrusion into profile rollers, which give the product the final structured surface with drainage studs and spikes that are an integral part of the liner.
AGRU Drain Liner®
A geomembrane available in two resin types: HDPE and LLDPE. AGRU Drain Liner is best suited for single- or double-lined projects such as landfills, waste ponds, lagoons, mining heap leach pads, and process ponds where containment and leak detection is crucial. AGRU Drain Liner eliminates the need for a separate geonet or geomembrane drainage layer, providing cost savings in material usage and installation.
A patented final cover system comprising AGRU’s Super Gripnet® overlain by engineered synthetic turf infilled with sand. It is a proven “hybrid” composite system that outperforms traditional closure methodologies. ClosureTurf is an EPA Subtitle-D compliant final cover system that can be installed more than 50% faster than traditional closure systems. ClosureTurf eliminates the need for large quantities of soil and related equipment usage, dramatically improving site safety and decreasing its carbon footprint by almost 80%. Reduced soil and equipment usage also leads to lower construction costs.
Made of extruded high-density polyethylene (HDPE), AGRU Tri-Lock serves as an embedded attachment for HDPE liners. AGRU Tri-Lock embeds in any face of new cast-in-place or precast concrete construction and can be fabricated to maneuver around shapes and corners. If the liner experiences unexpectedly high tensile loads, the liner will yield before AGRU Tri-Lock yields or pulls out of the concrete.
A specialized product used to seal off cut-off walls to create an impermeable layer. The AGRULock VS system also enables percolation at panel joints along a specified path. The system is ideal for locations where contaminated groundwater streams need to be stopped or treated with “gate and fence” systems and at construction sites where the groundwater table must be kept at a low level.
A 100% polypropylene nonwoven geotextile that lowers initial project costs by reducing the amount of base material needed. This needle-punched staple fiber geotextile membrane is ideal for environmental and civil engineering applications including cushioning, separation, stabilization, and filtration. Extends the life of a project by protecting other critical materials from puncture, migration, or degradation.
AGRU Geocomposite Closure System is the traditional method for closures, which utilizes AGRU MicroSpike or AGRU Smooth Liner geomembrane, overlain by a geocomposite drainage layer, soil cover layer, and vegetative layer. This traditional closure system utilizes a cost-saving geocomposite drainage layer. It also offers the highest and most consistent asperity height available on the market, providing consistent and dependable shear strengths.
A high-density polyethylene liner that is ideal for applications such as landfill cells, leak location in double-lined systems, landfill caps for drainage and methane gas collection, and landscape drainage systems. AGRU’s Geonet is bixial and biplanar, presenting a rib formation that allows for high flow in both machine and cross machine directions.
A reinforced needle-punched geosynthetic clay liner that comprises a uniform layer of granular bentonite that is encapsulated between a woven and a nonwoven geotextile, or between two nonwoven geotextiles. These products are intended for moderate to steep slopes and moderate- to high-load applications, where increased internal shear strength is required.
A concrete protection system made of high-quality PE, PP, PVDF, and ECTFE. Sure-Grip meets and/or exceeds the highest requirements for a chemical-proof construction. Sure-Grip is used wherever there is a need for highly reinforced concrete structures, and is particularly useful as a protective layer against corrosive fluids or gases.
Large Diameter Pipe
A piping system that is available in sizes up to OD 2500 mm (98.4 in) and made from PE 100, PE 100-RC, or PE 4710 for high volume flow applications. AGRU’s large diameter pipes offer better long-term hydraulic properties, which save operation costs. Other benefits include a high resistance to corrosion, wear and tear, and UV radiation. AGRU’s large diameter pipes offer fast and efficient installation both on- and offshore.
HDPE Pipe Fittings
High-density polyethylene pipe fittings are manufactured from the newest generation of PPI and NSF materials. These pipe fittings meet a range of project requirements including ASTM D3261, ASTM D2513, NSF 61, and AWWA C901 and C906. These pipes offer superior flow characteristics while retaining their lightweight and flexible properties.
