As a synthetic drainage media, AGRU’s Geocomposite is designed to replace one to two feet of traditional aggregate while providing drainage under various conditions, site loads, and gradients.
AGRU Geocomposite works for drainage applications that need filtration to keep silt and soil particles from clogging flow. Applications that need increased friction characteristics also benefit from the use of geocomposite. AGRU Geocomposite is a synthetic drainage medium designed to replace one to two feet of traditional aggregate while providing drainage under similar site loads, gradients, and site conditions. The medium is available in both single-sided and double-sided variants with geonet core thicknesses from 200 mil to 330 mil and fabric ranging from 4 oz. to 16 oz. To provide for filtration and separation while providing good transmissivity values, AGRU bonds geotextiles to the geocomposite.
AGRU’s Geocomposite is available in both single-sided and double-sided products with geonet core thicknesses from 200 to 330 mil, and fabric ranging from 4 oz. to 16 oz. The non-woven geotextile is bonded to the geonet with a hot knife application, allowing for high bond strength without the reduction of transmissivity values of other processes.
