Industry-leading U.S. geosynthetics manufacturer receives recognition for its efforts in Western Nevada.
[Georgetown, South Carolina, October 27, 2023 —] AGRU America, Inc. (“AGRU”) was awarded the 2023 EDAWN Existing Industry Award in Manufacturing Excellence (large category) from the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN). Since its opening in 2008, AGRU’s Fernley plant has been a pivotal element in the company’s U.S. strategy, providing direct geosynthetics production in the western United States for its AGRU Lining Systems.

AGRU Lining Systems include Super Gripnet®, MicroSpike®, MicroDrain®, and AGRU Drain Liner®. These products are essential for protecting human health, conserving vital resources, and modernizing infrastructure. Applications include mining, waste management, and water containment and transmission.
