Industry-leading U.S. geosynthetics manufacturer receives recognition for its efforts in Western Nevada.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Georgetown, South Carolina, October 27, 2023 \u2014] AGRU America, Inc. (\u201cAGRU\u201d) was awarded the 2023 EDAWN Existing Industry Award in Manufacturing Excellence (large category) from the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN).<\/a> Since its opening in 2008, AGRU\u2019s Fernley plant has been a pivotal element in the company\u2019s U.S. strategy, providing direct geosynthetics production in the western United States for its AGRU Lining Systems.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AGRU Lining Systems include Super Gripnet\u00ae, MicroSpike\u00ae, MicroDrain\u00ae, and AGRU Drain Liner\u00ae. These products are essential for protecting human health, conserving vital resources, and modernizing infrastructure. Applications include mining, waste management, and water containment and transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AGRU has grown steadily throughout its 35 years in the United States, investing in new manufacturing facilities, technologies, and capabilities. In 2023, AGRU boasts five manufacturing plants in the United States, with 14 dedicated geosynthetics production lines and more planned for 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
